Big day

Today has been a BIG day, and it's not even 3 yet! We went to Jack's 4 yr doctors appointment today, where he was a champ. He jumped with excitement when Dr Rob came in, answered all the questions he was asked, talked about his birthday party and his favorite presents and was an all around great guy :) Dr Rob was impressed! He even got 2 shots in preparation for going to Kindergarten (he's eligible to go this time next year so instead of 4 shots at once, we opted for 2 and 2). Jack sat on the table, looked at the nurse as she was doing the injections and DIDN'T EVEN FLINCH! It was like nothing was going on. That kid rocks. Even the nurse kept commenting on how calm he was about the whole thing (however, later when I tried to make sure that his band aids were on he flipped out and pulled his arm away...what's up with that?).

Weight: 43lbs (91%, pretty much where it has been since he was 4 months old!)
Height: 41 inches (64%, he's slowing down!!! Maybe his clothes will fit him for more than 2 months!)
BP: 97/55

Anyway, after the doc we went to a party store to see if we can come up with a theme for Liv's birthday party, since every time we ask her what kind of party she wants, she grins and says "CAKE!!". Not real helpful there... They had a great time looking around though! Then we went to Yats, where we ate etoufee until we were about to burst. I love that both of the kids love Yats. How many 2 and 4 year old's do you know that love Cajun food? Again, my kids rock ;) After a quick trip to Fryes, we went to the Fishers Fire Dept where our friend Todd showed Jack and Liv all the fire trucks (ladder, rescue and engine, thank you very much), as well as where they eat and sleep. Jack even got to get in the trucks, which he thought was awesome!

We finished the day with a trip to Maggie Moos for some yummy ice cream (with a gift card!!). It's been a busy but fun day so far...wonder what the rest of the day will be like?
