The check ups

So I've gathered the kiddos to see their pediatrician for their yearly check-ups. Yes, Jack's birthday was in August, and his check up was in October. I called in July and this was the best I could get!!

At Liv's appointment, she charmed the nurses and Dr Rob...as usual. She was all sparkly and happy in her new Hello Kitty outfit that MeeMaw and PaPaw gave her for her birthday. She sat still for all the tests while the nurses admired her pretty pink toes. She LOVES the attention :) Then she and Dr Rob had a rousing conversation about their favorite princesses (Aurora for Liv, Ariel for Dr Rob), and discussed at great length the awesomeness that is Disney World. Oh yeah, and she has double ear infections ;( Grr. Even though she says her ears don't hurt, we started a round of antibiotics since we are going on a plane soon. All in all, a fun, uneventful trip. Here are the stats:

Height: 40.25 inches (62%) Up 2.5 inches from last year
Weight: 38.5 lbs (75%) Up 5 lbs from last year
BP: 100/61
HR: 101

Jacks was a bit more interesting. After racing there from school to get there on time, Jack was weighed and was 4 lbs less than he was 3 weeks ago at his last apt when he was running a fever. Hmm...this is a boy who doesn't LOSE weight. He hasn't been feeling great for a few weeks (annoying cough that has lasted after a long cold with a fever) so we are hoping that is what's going on with him. But because it is so out of the ordinary for him, I got to answer a LOT of questions (is he sweating more, doing to the bathroom more, bruising more easily, listless, tired, thirsty...?) AND he got to pee in a cup. He thought that was the weirdest thing in the world. He also got a huge kick out of me carrying a cup of his pee down the hall. Thanks kiddo ;P Turns out he also has double ear infections so he too is now on antibiotics. Sigh. Anyway, his urine test came out fine, but if he doesn't perk up soon we're going in to draw labs. Boo hiss. Here are his stats:

Now we concentrating on getting packed for our Disney trip!
