My baby boy is 3!!

Ah...it seems like he's been around forever, but it doesn't seem like it's been 3 years at the same time...how does that work? Must be crazy mommy time.

We had a lovely day eating the breakfast that he wanted (yogurt, banana, grape juice, and choc chip waffles!), opening presents from us (a wooden workbench and tools, saw, new soccer ball, fun magnetic calendar, and a view master), and going to the water park to play. He and his cousins had a great time. Jack was running around to all the little kids and saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We had to explain to him that it was his birthday, not everyone else's. Too cute that boy. We asked him where he wanted to go for dinner and he said "roadhouse...they have peanuts and bread". So Roadhouse it was, and it was yummy. Livie behaved very well during the whole day even though she is feeling yucky with a summer cold that Scott and I also have :( Hopefully that's over with soon because summer colds are AWFUL!

It's taken Jack a very long time to settle into sleep tonight. He's finally getting that his party is tomorrow and he keeps coming to the gate saying "I'm HAPPY!". He's not getting that he has to fall asleep first!

The big party is tomorrow so I should probably do the 2 million things that need to get done...but truth be told, I'd rather watch a movie and sleep ;)
