There is a need

As some of you know, Chad Cook, a member of our church and someone our family has known for ever, was taken to the hospital yesterday and has experienced some bleeding on his brain. For more information and updates go to Stacy Cook's blog at http://www.wesstacy.blogspot.com/ .

In the mean time, this is a family who is in need of prayer. They are also in need of some meals! Chad and Wendy's 4 children are staying at the home of family friends for the duration of this ordeal. They would be very blessed if people would sign up for meals to help ease this load. The 3 oldest kids are also going to need sack lunches for school and if that is a need you can meet, that would be great!! To sign up, go here and under family enter Cook, and Chad is the password. From there you can sign up to bring a main dish for 10, sides & desserts, or sack lunches. You can even get a map to their house, and a phone number to call if you have any questions.

This is a great way to tangibly help this family in this time of need. If you are willing to help in other ways as well, please let Stacy or I know.

Isn't it great how the church can come together and be...the church :)
